@MCL: As the official Starting Grid on the Formula 1 website still keeps PER on grid position 7 he loses 13 grid positions and all drivers behind him gain 1 grid position. This has at least been taken into account for the calculation of the GRID TIP points.

@WOB: I agree with the FIA decision to at least start the race with 2 laps behind the SC as it compensates all drivers according to their performance in the qualifying, as the qualifying makes part of the whole event. It would not have been fair just to throw away everything achieved during the weekend. It is to my opinion the FIA's duty to do everything to have a race or at least a race result (always within the boundaries of necessary security measures), even if this includes a silly "race" that cannot even be called a race. It would, though, have been better to take this action at 15:00 in order to fulfill this duty and have a race result (for the case the race could not be started regularly) and then red flag the race for an undefinite period of time trying to really restart the race if the weather conditions allowed for. I even think this rule should make it into the regulations for next year, then we would always have a race start.

Grid Tipper MAM has won the GRID TIP Season 2021 achieving his 8th GRID TIP title win with the highest score (221 points) and score ratio per GP (10,05 points) of all GRID TIP seasons. So, if we have not seen a 8 times World Champion this year in Formula 1, GRID TIP has. Congratulations. Congratulations also to the runner ups: RHA in 2nd place, winning the most GPs of the season (8) and achieving also the highest score (212 points) and score ratio per GP (9,64 points) of all GRID TIP Vice Champions and JUF in 3rd place being for the first time on the GRID TIP season results podium!
